MARATHONER!!
Finished (not last)
I figured out at about the half that I wasn't breaking any records so I decided to take it all in and have the most fun possible. I sag with elvis, talked to everyone, partied at all the water breaks, Cheered with everyone, breathed in every view, encouraged anyone I could, ran a hill twice doing Rocky impressions to "Eye of the tiger" and finished 26.2 miles with a sprint!
I ran the flying pig marathon yesterday!!!!

so a few things
1. Health.
I'm still running and have worked out a new plan that is more fit for my needs. I now run long every other day and swim on the days in between. I'm feeling good again and getting some great runs and great times. I'm back to 10 minute mile. But averaging 12 minute miles for long runs. I had fallen to 14. The key is to NOT DRINK POP AND DON"T EAT FRIES. Plus the recovery day is really helping.
2. I HATE toilets, not so much for number 1, but for number 2.If I was a woman I would be in big trouble. Public toilets seem so savage or outdated or dirty or disgusting. There should be a way to more discreetly dispose our waste when out.
3. U2 No line on the horizon. Here is my review I wrote for Tim Harrold. I require that you have listened to the whole album at least twice before reading this.
I am still in the air whilst being completely addicted.
I think my problem with it is the lack of pop. It is very eno-ish. I think that I read somewhere that Lillywhite mixed or produced as well and I definitely hear his overproduced darkness as well.
That being said. I love Bono's release that I hear in his voice and thoughts. I love most of the lyrics but there are a few line that seem out of place.
Good: "Whoawhoawhoa whoawhoaoooho" (No Line)
Bad: The minor chord right before that line. And too much guitar break on the chorus.
Good: Magnificent. ALL OF IT.
Good: Moment of Surrender. All of it very enofied, your right. It makes me want to make movies about the desert and lone gunmen... and spanish monks.
Bad: "On our wedding day" Lyrics sound forced.
Good: "Love believes in me", Calvinist but good. Perhaps more true than I allow grace to be.
Good: The guitar in the intro Unknown Caller
Bad: the disappointment of not being a real song after a VERY long intro.
Bad: Chanting
Very Bad: Chanting "Shoosh now"
I can't even listen to the complete song if I have a choice.
Good: "I'm going to go crazy if I don't go crazy tonight" (And this is my favorite so far)
Good: "It's not a hill it's a mountain"
Bad: "Is it true that perfect love drives out all fear" This is not only biblically incorrect (1 John 4:18) but it just feels forced while he is singing it.
Good: "You Don't know how beautiful you are" until they sing it in a minor chord.
Bad: The guitar opening riff. DATE-ED
Good: The Crookers remix of Get on your boots.
Bad: "Get on your boots" What kind? Work boots, hiking, footy, a trunk? Get on the trunk of my car? huh?
Good: "Let me in the sound"
Bad: The queer high not they hit on the word boots at the end.
Good: Stand up Comedy
Bad: The name: Stand Up Comedy. (And the line Little Old Lady is weird)
Good: Fez is growing on me.
Bad: Fez is crap when you first listen to it. The first ten or twenty times. I thought it was an accident.
GREAT: White as snow
Kinda bad: And this seems to be a reoccurring quandary, LONG intro that doesn't fit the song. The song should start at 00:30
Good: The hymn feeling of White as snow
Bad: Repeating a line in the rock song as if it is a hymn
Good: Awesome rant of the lyrics of Breathe
Bad: Stupid Intro
Good: "Every die again, and agin I'm reborn"
Bad: "turn around at the end with the violins is weird" Lillywhite produced this one.
Good: Cedars of Lebanon
Bad: "Return the call to home" sounds queer.
Good: Production is awesome of Cedars. it had potential to be a great song
Bad: But it just didn't climax.
So, overall, I think it is pretty good. but I think there are too many quirks. So will it replace Left behind for me. No.
Could it have been a great album if they would have taken this to another producer and said "take out the dark and the crap"? Absolutely.

I was using excuses again
Problem is, I was drinking pop too and I think all that bad stuff weighs you down and makes you perform less than your ability.
So I been clean of pop a few days and took a break over the weekend and ran 7 strong 12 minute miles today and feel good!!
So I am back on track and you'll see me here again!!

I am SOOOO sorrry
Since we have been home from England we have been going at all kinds of gears and speeds.
So,
How has your quest for fitness been going?
I am still training for the marathon. It is going slower than I hoped. I have some work to do and I hurt my leg a little. But I got a 10 mile run in today and here is the data from it from my new Garmin 405.
Yes it was a very slow run. I didn't want to injure my leg and it was 28º and WINDY
I'll work on keeping blahging every couple days again. I am planning a sermon for tomorrow night right now so I can't spend too much time here. talk to you soon.

Not that dedicated
SNOW! In LONDON.
Global Warming is killing us.
I did get a few runs in so far here. 5 miles a day so far for 3 days.
Yesterday was particular hard and great at the same time.
After about 1 mile, I thought "It's too cold and windy today"
But then I warmed up.
So I got through two miles. And I thought I might just cut across the town center and quit early.
But I kept encouraging myself and stuck out to 3 miles.
I then thought that's it. But then I felt like, No I'm ok I'm going for it, it will be worth it.
As I'm running down Corringham rd. I see another runner coming at me. He looks like a dedicated runner (probably out there today). So I hold my hand up to wave as we pass... Then the unthinkable in British culture happens...
He Gave Me A High Five!!!
I just High Fived and kept going. I thought surely that didn't just happen. This guy just gave me the encouragement I needed right then!! So then it crosses my mind, this guy might just be my encouragement angel. So I'm not going to turn and look for him.
Here is a couple pictures from that run. The first shows the river Thames, and the second, I forgot to smile again.

signed up!
A Marathon!
The Flying Pig May 3rd.
I also ran today, 5 miles and the same yesterday. We are in England at my in-laws house and we are having a party today for my mother in-law. It's her 50th.
I meant to take a picture of the morning sun glistening off the Thames River this mornin, but I forgot. sorry. I'll get that for you next week.
Here is where Marathon came from:
The marathon is a long-distance foot race with an official distance of 42.195 kilometers (26 miles 385 yards) that is usually run as a road race. The event is named after the fabled run of the Greek soldier Pheidippides, a messenger from the Battle of Marathon to Athens. The historical accuracy of this legend is in doubt,[1] contradicted by accounts given by Herodotus, in particular.
The marathon was one of the original modern Olympic events in 1896, though the distance did not become standardized until 1921. More than 800 marathons are contested throughout the world each year, with the vast majority of competitors being recreational athletes. Larger marathons can have tens of thousands of participants.
Health Tip:
Sorry I haven't been giving tips recently.
Today's is good though.
Put away some old fat clothes and then try them on in about 6 months when you have lost some weight. It is quite a boost of encouragement.
We got here to Mum's in England and I kept a wardrobe of clothes here. Well, it was fun packing them all up to take to the charity shops!

Outside again!
So I ran outside. 5 miles around Union Center and it was great!. I could have ran forever but I "ran" out of time.
BRILLIANT!
I can't wait till that is the norm sort of temp and weather.
I lost some weight. It is coming off, I know I shouldn't weigh myself after running.
I am excited about running the flying pig marathon.
Good stuff and what not.

Last year I was the president, which was very good stuff.
So, some people had some very nice things to say and very nice
comments about my weight loss which led to conversations about
running. of course.
Well a good christian friend of mine from another dealer is also a
runner. He's my dad's age I believe and we spent some time together
last summer in London while they were there on vacation while at the
same time we were there for my sister in law's wedding. Saturday
night, we were talking about the race, the Flying Pig that is. And he
mention that he would like to run the race together, but only if I
would do the whole thing! That's 26.2 miles you know.
I said I had to think about it. But I have thought about it all
weekend, and I want to do it.
I told him how many miles I am currently running a week and he
thought, (as also did the guys at Mojo Running) that I was running
plenty of miles now to train in time for the Pig.
So I researched it a bit yesterday and today and found that to be
consistent with all the training programs I found.
So I have emailed him to tell him about my friend Brett, also
committed currently to the half, and that I would like to go for it.
So, are you ready for 26.2? Let's do it!

I just felt like running

Not that far, obviously. I got in 7.something. I stopped counting after 7 and just stopped when I felt tired. But I didn't get to 8. Because I was tired and hungary.
But that makes over 24 miles this week. I have figured out how to use the foot pod and the Garmin connect site now, finally. I had to use wondoze. blah.
I'll share it with you soon.
I still haven't taken any food pictures yet. I do plan on making that part of my routine. It will be fun to discuss what I eat.
Did I mention that was -4ºF yesterday. That is crazy cold. I want to get outside to run but that aint happening this week.
Health Tip:
Keep a pad of paper by your bed to write down your random night thoughts. It will help you sleep.

Overwhelming
I'll give it a few days to see if anyone is interested though.
I found out something interesting today. For the past year I have weighed myself exclusively on a digital scale that I had, but it was plastic and I thought I had broken it and I figured it was cheap.
So I asked for a glass scale for Christmas.
And Nicky got me an IKEA one. That I thought was awesome. So I started using that one.
Now my weight had been very up and down through December as I was eating christmasly and working out hard too. But I felt like I had gained 3 pounds. But by January 7, I had managed to get back to wear I was 30 days prior.
Then today as I weighed my self, I thought "I wonder what the old scale says I am". The old scale repeatedly from the same spot in the bathroom floor was 3 pounds less. That is a fun discovery.
HOWEVER, There is still the question of which one is right. So I put on my workout clothes and weighed myself again. Clothes and shoes added 3lbs. I then went straight to the gym and weighed myself there. Same weight as the old plastic scale.
So, after I worked out I got ready and stuff, and went weighed myself again. I went to work and weighed myself on our refrigerant scale we have (which is higher end quality) and it was same as the gym.
THEREFORE, I am three pounds less than my new favorite IKEA Christmas scale says I am. I need to find a way to calibrate it, if there is a way, because it is digital.
That's always nice though isn't it?
Health Tip:
Weigh yourself every three to four days and not everyday. Don't get obsessed by it. In fact I'm ok with weighing every day if your not obsessive, but only record your average loss for a few days or a week at a time. That way you can account for the poop, and water and other variables in your body.
But also take in these considerations as well:
* How well do your clothes fit? Are they tight or loose through the chest,
thighs, or waist?
* The "pinch test": Can you "pinch an inch" of fat at your waistline or at
the back of your arm?
* The "jiggle test": Jump up and down in front of a full-length mirror,
nude. Does anything jiggle that shouldn't
* Overall muscle tone: When you put your hand on your thigh or hip, do you
feel muscle or fat?

YES!
It is week two of my new favorite show. I don't know if I will get to watch it because we have to catch up from another dvrd show.
BUT,
That has got me thinking, we need a contest.
Firstly, please sign up for the pound for pound challenge that I have linked to on my last post.
Then, lets have a biggest loser competition of our own through the comments here.
It's really quite simple. We'll base it on percentage of body mass index loss from Tuesday January 12 (today really) until Tuesday May 5th.
If we get enough people, I can make a google spreadsheet that everyone can see every week and will be fun.
So Lets weigh in. Oh wait, I forgot the prize!
The PRIZE: 1 jumbo bar of Galaxy Milk Chocolate.
Now of course I see the blatant irony of the prize, but I believe the winner earns it and everyone else will hope they choke on it.
OK so Lets weigh in every tuesday.
It's all based on the honor system of course. But I need this info if your up to it.
Name
Gender
Height (inches or cm)
Weight (lbs or kg, Not Stone I think that is cheating)
BMI if you know it. Check BMI HERE FOR WOMEN & HERE FOR MEN.
Me first
Josh
Male
70 inches (177.8cm)
248lbs (112.5 kg)

So, Nicky says, "why don't you just run to get my car?" And I say, "Why don't I?"
So I did. I had to take in the circle around Union Center to make it 5 miles and it felt great. I started with 9 minute mile! then a ten minute but then I slowed for a 13 then finished with a 12 and a 11. So I have to still build some speed, but that comes as the weight goes.
What kind of food you ask?
Well,
1. Doner Kebabs
2. England Style Chinese

Back in the saddle again
I'm a runner! and excited to be moving again. I could barely walk Sunday and Monday when I got up I thought "forget running". However, Nicky and I have taken to to walking at Cincinnati Mills Mall (which now has more walkers than shoppers). So we went for our 2 mile walk around the mall Monday night and we followed that with another set Tuesday night. Then today...
I ran 4 miles. And it was solid. On the track, I'm not as gung ho yet as those that run in the rain and sleet. Times are improving though. I started with a 10 min mile which is my goal for all 13 miles of the Pig. I also feel that imperative to faster times is the removal of the weight I am carrying. I'm still 250lbs (17.85 Stone). So another 25lbs or so should really help. So I'm guessing that maybe another 3
months.
I am losing weight again after the 30days of the holidays where for the thirty days (from Dec 8
when we left for vacation till Jan 8) I did not gain any extra holiday pounds! :)
So good stuff.
Come do a mile with me and log it as www.mapmyrun.com That is neat website.
Health Tip:

Accountability. Honestly, I'm lacking accountability with a workout partner kinda. I have Brett who is going to run with me. But I want to work out with someone for muscle training and what not. Running with pain and another cold
I ran three miles today on the track to feel the difference. But I over stretched my hammy last night while bending over in the snow to pick up letters from the church sign so it had been bothering me today. I just stretched it good before the run and walked slowly and built up my jog.
Here is the data though:
(with hamstring tight and another cold setting in)
I ran under 12 minute miles today. 3 of them. I kept track of each lap on my iphone and made sure I didn't miss a lap and added it all up at the end.
THEREFORE:
It is my opinion that the treadmill is good for speeding you up when training but a free track or path is for the runner wanting to determine current running statistical data.
I may not run tomorrow if I wake up with my hammy feeling tight. I don't want to actually hurt it. I can swim though. I swam today too. Swimming is good.
Health Tip:
I just read this in Runners World. Take a picture of your meal before you eat. IT helps you to make a better log of what your eating and to be more subjective. I think I might post more interesting photos of coming food here then.

Logging the miles
Then yesterday I was walking in the locker area of the mens room, from the pool, and there at the locker next to mine was this guy.
Now I'm forced to remember who he is.
So we made pleasant talk and I asked him how long he's been at Urban Active and he mentioned he had noticed my weight loss and I told him about the Thanksgiving Ten K and mentioned he ought to stop by the office and see my certificate. I still am pretty sure I know him well enough to say this but still can't place him. We exchange 'see ya laters' and I moved on to the shower.
Then it dawned on me, It was Nick Brown my old State Farm agent. The irony is... his office denied life ins. to me because of my weight. I wish I had made that joke with him now.
Also, I got a copy of December's Runner's World magazine. What great magazine and website. This is for the truly addicted, which I am becoming. But then I am like that. I was for Baseball, for English football, (but I still love my Sowfend Blues and glory glory Man United), for apple stuff, for golf, and now running. I get on kicks. But I don't lay things down after the infatuation. I go all out and get all the magazines and websites and podcasts and gear and everything there is to learn and be. then I level out.
So I had my kicks with baseball, football, Apple, Golf but I still love all these. Just not to the intenseness of a "kick".
Ok, I am changing my mind about the treadmill.
I think the treadmill can be harder if you choose to make it harder. You can add a steady incline and and steadily push up the pace in order to force your body to run faster and harder. If your outside you can motivate and get your mind in gear and vary so that it don't hurt but you may not improve as quickly.
Well, right now it is way to cold to run outside anyway. I could run the track though. I think I need to look into an ipod nano and the nike+ if I want going to run the track in order to truly track how fast and "far". In the comments a while back, Luke gave a good recommendation of the nike+.
Health tip:
Stretch often. Stretching in of itself is a calorie burner but it keeps your tendons and muscles flexible and from tightening up so they don;t hurt so bad later life.

in the rain
In the rain it is difficult to get out of 1st gear though. So I ran 2 miles and maybe a bit. It was also all I had time for because we woke up a little later. I thought at the time that I might have some time if the rain would cease a little later to run another mile or two.
No such luck.
It's raining. And then raining some more, they are having flash floods.
The river out back of our hotel is nearing it's crest.
Apparently, it should turn to snow as it gets colder, but I somehow doubt it.
We are going to Memories theater with Elvis and friends tonight. That should be fun. u huh (said with curled lip).
Leaving tomorrow and heading home via Somerset, Casey County for a history lesson.
Health Tip:
Buy smaller clothes and give yourself some fun goals with them. Buy a shirt and say, I'd like to wear that for our Christmas party. Then have that goal and meet it. Or buy a new swimsuit.

Almost 4.7 miles
Yesterday we found an ECCO discount shoe outlet.
Ecco are my favorite dress and golf shoe and have been excellent for me in other areas and I always wanted some Ecco shoes for running but knew I needed to try them on. Yesterday I got that chance. And I found these for 50% less than I ever seen them before and they were great to run in today.

Today was the first time I ran and didn't slow down because of my knees were jarring or because by upper body felt jarred. I did get stomach cramps though.
awesome.
We're having a great time in Pigeon Forge.

In the smoky mountains.

Well I woke up this morning on my own at 7am excited to get my feet pounding on the road again. Today was the first time since last Friday after my sickyness that I have tried to run. And it was a great place to get a run. As I ran, the sun was rising over the mountains in the east and through the clouds, there were brilliant rays of purple and smoky. Hence the name. but still...
The picture does not give the true scene justice because it was taken after the sun had come up too far,
We're in pigeon forge though and I fully don't expect to lose any weight this week. But I'll run every day. It's great place to run, very easy along the pigeon forge strip. I run from our hotel just before the christmas store down to the Old Mill. It's a little more than 4 miles.

Sick as a dog
Then last night we went to eat and later I went to the store and tried
on some jeans and felt a gurgle.
It was a rough night with some gurgle. I got up at 6 and thought I was
tired. I then went to the loo, only to be a human liquidizer. I
thought it was just a one off. So I went on to the gym. I went again
then.
I got on the treadmill and couldn't really get moving. I did get a
mile in.
Then I went again a figured out, I am sick. I went on home after a
shower and felt most of the day like a giant took me by the feet and
slammed me against the pavement for an hour.
So few diarreah pills and co-codemal later, I'm feeling a little better.

2.5 today and 4 yesterday
Some fun stuff yesterday.
I went to Steve and Barry's because they are going out of business to buy a sweater of pullover to wear to church last night.
They have some nice quarter zip fleece shirts there. So, I got a XL and went and tried it on. I thought "hmm i got some room here, I'll try a large".
So I did.
And it fit great!
Buying a large when this time last year I was looking for XXXL thats three (3) Xs. This is really good stuff.
I'm not saying this to show off, or hey look at me. I just need a place to share the joy! in humility I do so. Because it has taken hard work and I'm not above anyone or even the old myself. At anytime I could lose control again. BUT I VOW NOT TO!!!
I have decided!!
That is what it takes sometimes. To just decide and then JUST DO IT. (not a nike commercial).
Discipline.
Health Tip:
Get all sauces, gravies, dressings, and condiments on the side and only add them as NECESSARY. If you can eat it without the sauce, then leave the calories alone.

3 miles and weight training.
I went to dicks sporting goods today just to look at running stuff. I
needed shorts and found some on sale. And I bought a large! I haven't
worn large since school.
Can you believe it's Dec first already?me either!
Does anyone know about the Nike+ iPod doohicky? Would it do any more
than my watch? Or iPhone? Speaking of which, did you know that the new
gps 3g iPhone can accurately track exactly where you run and how fast?
Mine is not gps.
Health tip:
Don't even taste pie, one taste always leads to another and then to a
piece and before you know it you have had a piece every night. And
sugarless does not mean calorie-less. I heard. Somewhere.

Before and now
However, I has someone ask me for some before and (after)/now pictures and so I thought I would add them to here. Just for fun. It is funny to see the difference, and also sad that it took me so long.
This is from Niagara Falls trip July 2003
This is from Cody & Allison B's wedding about 1.5 years ago.

Thanksgiving Day when I got home from the 10K
Friday

Swimming, I didn't fall off the wagon the day after the race.

And I didn't even eat too much on Thanksgiving. I kept my calories under 2000.
I did have some sugar free pumpkin pie. Twice. I have no Idea how that computes.
The picture is my certificate. I am still waiting to see if they post pictures online and I will try and find one of me. I think I may have missed out on the picture because it looks like they are trying to sell them based on contestant number. Seeing that I self registered myself in the first annual Hauser/Zwolinski 10k that coincidentally takes place on the same city public streets as the Ronald McDonald 10K I may not find the times and what not.
I wish I would have paid attention to the people who crossed at the same time as me to see their numbers.
Ok, God bless us everyone.
Health Tip.
Order food you don't like at restaurants. Then you can more easily do portion control.

I did it!!!!
conquered by team Hauser/Zwolinski!
We didn't register, we figured I had a watch and I bought a tshirt. I
don't need to check for time on line and I'm going to make my own
certificate.
We were in the last 100 or so people. But we finished half way in the
group after we passed the walkers and slower ones.
We jogged most of it at about 13 minute miles for a total 80 minutes.
We ran the last .2.
Thank you to Brett for encouriging me to do this.
Thank you Nicky for sticking with my crazy ideas and goals.
Thank you everyone for your kind comments and encouraging words.
So, may 5th, the flying pig.
Hauser/Zwolinski run the half marathon! You should join us!
At least you can do the thanksgiving day 10k with us next year.
I DID IT!

Swimming in warm water again
"I'm running in a race" - Mr Bean in Rat Race.
Tomorrow I run in the annual Thanksgiving Day 10k. I'm pretty excited.
Here is the website for the race
There you can see the map and what not.
I'll be sure to let you know how it goes!
Health tip:
Park the farthest you can in parking lots. The further walking a little bit at a time will help to (thought not completely) offset the little cheat snacks here and there.

Last warm up run. 6.5 miles
Look here at the coolest website I have found this week:
GMAPPEDOMETER.com
So Thursday is the big day. Brett and I set out at 7:45 to run at 9am with all the other turkeys.
6.2 miles and I;m feeling really good about it.
I'll try to take some pictures and post them Thursday or something.
Health Tip:
Kids. Have kids, they quickly help you to put life into perspective.

Swimming in FRIGID water again!!!
You guessed it, the pool heater is still broken at the gym. They should text me every hour or so with an update on whether or not the pool heater is fixed.
The bad part is:
I got up this morning at 6 am in order to go to the pool before I had to work. I got all bundles up and stumbled out in to the 17ºF (-8.3333ºC) cold dark morning. I got the frost off the windshield and drove myself down to the gym. The gym that opens at 8am on Saturdays.
So I got back into the truck and headed home.
I went back after work during Zoe's nap time though. I'm really glad that I moved the running schedule around this week and got in my 10k yesterday.
Are there any runners out there? What is it about running that is so exhilarating or addictive or drug like. Runners are a weird breed. I'm becoming that way. I have always been a weirdo I'm sure, but I get this running thing.
Oh! I almost forgot. Last month when I was ordained, Nicky got me the Bible Experience on CD as a present. It just dawned on me how fulfilling it would be to listen to that while running instead of music or Dave Ramsey.
I'll let you know how that goes.
Nutrition tip.
I think I'll change this to health tip section now. Okay?
Health Tip:
Wear a pedometer. I just got a pedometer watch and I wear it most days and try to beat my previous days record in steps. I compete against myself essentially. It causes you to pick further parking spots and take the long way around in walmart or the office.

6.2 miles. 10 K :)
And I saw the doctor this week that 5 months ago started me out on some good health tips. It was fun for him to see that I meant it and was serious.
Next Thursday I run the Turkey Day 10K.
I was wondering today, after my run if I could run double that. Or, could I go and do it all over again right now. I think I might. So next week sometime, I am going to go to Sharon woods and see how far I can go without hurting myself.
Nutrition Tip.
Red Grapes. A great snack with hydration built in. The skins are antioxidant as well.

3 miles
That somewhere was my highschool. My physed teacher from school, coach Dilliard, passed away last Sunday from a brain anneurysm. He will be sincerely missed.
Many people at the school shared today their memories and it was a testimony to the Christian example he was.
Nutrition tip:
Water. 8 cups a day. Flush out the toxins.

Ran the track today. 4 miles
Much to my excitement, I found that I am running about 12-13 minute miles. I started with a 13:30 minute mile and ended with a 11:40 minute mile.
So that is good news. Perhaps the treadmill was not encouraging me as needed. I also think that perhaps I tend to slow down and speed up as my body chooses, which over time makes it faster, rather than wearing down at one speed.
I'm going to try and get outside to run a couple days this week and at least once outside next Monday or Tuesday before the ig turkey 10K.
Nutrition factoid:
Eat more often. 4-6 times a day and not after 8pm (bedtime 11pm).
Eating more often keeps your metabolism up to speed and helps you burn the calories. Eat proteins and low carbs.
If you are going to eat more. I suggest journaling what you eat and enter that into an online food journal like:
www.MyNetDiary.com

Run half hour/Bike half hour
So I ran a half hour and then biked a half hour and then hit some of the weights for an arms workout.
It's snowing out as I type and I think I like it.
while I drink earl grey tea. Which brings me to my nutrition tip of the day.
Nutrition Tip of The Day:
Green Tea.
Two to three times a day.
It's chock full of antioxidants and metabolism builders.
Chinese drink it all the time and how many fat Chinese people do you know?

10 Kilometers again!!
I could have done it in less than 1.5 hours today but I stopped to poop. And I had to stop to pee... twice!
I made the mistake of eating Clam Chowder before I ran. Clam Chowder always pushes through.
So I'm pretty sure that if I could have stayed in a rythm, I would have been able to stick with 13 minute miles. 6*13=78mins. Shaving 12 minutes off my time. Which is what I did today. Running, poop and pee and all I was only an hour and a half.
HOWEVER, that was on the treadmill though. Outside can be less motivating than the ground moving out from under you at a set pace.
ok, new blahg feature
Tip of the day:
Almonds.
One ounce of almonds is a great healthy snack and a metabolism booster.

Swimming in FRIGID water
It was TOO cold. I mean ridiculously cold.
So I am doing good, How bout you?
Tomorrow I go for 6.5 again.
The questions is if it will be too cold to do outside? and snow and rain.
We'll see....

4 miles again
It was good day on tread mill too.
Yesterday was swim day. But they forgot to turn the heater on. So I got in and I got out.
It has been a good week. I have got a lot of fun comments from Carrier friends and people at church where now the weight loss has become noticeable.
I believe there are 4 disciplines to life.
1. Spiritual. The discipline of relationship and devotion.
2. Financial.
3. Health
4. Love.
Life rests on these four disciplines.
You have to keep them all in balance to keep balanced.

I DID IT!!!! TEN KILOMETERS!!!!!
I set out this week to accomplish 6.2 mile today in an hour and a half. No walking.
Now I did a lot of Dillard jogging. (Dillard is a reference to my high school PE. teacher and soccer coach, he was a slow jogger but in great shape).
I was concerned that weather would deter me, that I wouldn't make it, that I just wasn't ready, but I set out and DID IT!!
Now I have about 3 weeks till I run this 10K with Brett and some others and I need to keep up with those guys.
Update:
Wednesday I Golfed. Thursday I ran about 4.5 miles on the treadmill and yesterday I swam my 30 minutes. And I have no idea if I'll see weight loss this week because I busted (my) limit on calories a few days this week. I was still within 2000 calories everyday though. I have really worked on the 4-6 meals a day ordeal as well. I have started carrying almonds and peanut butter and finding stray bananas.
Stray bananas makes it sound like there is a bunch of bananas running around in the back yard without a collar and pawing at the door to get in for some warmth. GETONOUTTAHERE! YOU DIRTY STRAYS!
Except I like bananas
I DID IT!

3 miles
I got about half mile into my jog and had to go to the loo.
So that knocked out about 15 minutes, plus I had to re-stretch and warm up.
I'm voting today.
I'll be honest, I'm very anti-other-people-who-think-they-can-spend-my-money-better-than-me.
So I am voting out anyone who approved the Seven Hundred Thousand Dollar Debt package. That is actually ballooning to over a Trillion dollars.
And I am voting fiscally for president, Bob Barr the Libertarian.
I was going to vote Ron Paul before the media left him out in the cold in the primaries.
Can we please just have some unselfish representation and let the free market and the people actually decide some stuff??? This point in history is where revolutions are often staged you know.
At least I'll be able to run away if I have to ;)

Another 3.5 Miles
I am going to run every day but have a light day then a big day then light then big then light then BIG. Then off.
I am a little down today. I didn't lose weight last week. And I read last night that the average person runs a 10K in 1 hour. I'm an hour and half :(
But part of my weight issue is till eating right. Not what I eat but when. I am still only two meals after my breakfast. so the typical bfast, lunch, dinner.
APPARENTLY, you have to eat 4-6 times a day. Same amount but spread out. It's like a metabolism thing.
I drink Green tea a lot though. And this weekend we got a killer deal on English imported fair trade green tea!!! It breaks down to 10 cents a tea bag. and they came in boxes of 20 and we bought TWENTY boxes!!! hahahaha GREEN TEA FAIR TRADE KING!!

Why I love running
Why I Love Running...
And I Hope You Do Too!?
Running has always been a treasure in my life. I may have crossed a lot of finish lines---from the imaginary line at the end of my driveway to the Olympic Marathon Trials--but I will never finish running. There really is no finish line, just like there's no such thing as a finished person.
Why do I love it so much? Here's a start. Hopefully, you can add to the list. Perhaps this will give you that tiny push you need to get out the door and give it a go. Maybe your goal is the Flying Pig Marathon or The Thanksgiving Day Race or even around the block. Just remember, a runner is real when she takes the first step.
* I feel real when I run. It brings me back to the basics. It's my running shoes, my funny looking stride, my big heart and me. No make up. No wonderbra. No dancing shoes. No mousse in the hair.
* It's a special occasion. I get all dressed up in my cool high tech running clothes, my $100 shoes and my fancy watch. Expensive? Yes. But those clothes make me feel fast, fun and fabulous.
* It makes me feel better every day. No matter what.
* It's good thinking time. Running is my escape. My gift to me. I have solved lots of my problems on a ten-mile jaunt. Just last week, I figured out my speech to the eighty graders at Cardinal Pacelli School, practiced my entire radio show (aloud), and prayed that I could make it through a tough day ahead. After 24 years of running, this list is quite extensive.
* Running has given me some great legs. Okay, they are not model material but they still look good in a pair of baggy shorts.
* Running gives me more energy. Hard to believe, but when you are fit, you can do more during the day with less effort.
* Running is so honest. The watch doesn't lie. The miles don't change. The distance is exactly the distance. There are no judges. There are no politics. There is no point system to critique my form.
* Running helps others. You can run for people suffering from Leukemia, Arthritis, heart disease, and breast cancer. There are so many meaningful ways to make a difference on the run. Crossing a finish line can impact so many lives in addition to your own.
* Running is a party. You can run with lots of people and talk the whole way. You don't have to clean the house or prepare a meal. You just have to meet at the street corner and bring your water.
* Running makes you notice beautiful things. Moonlight and streetlights. The early morning fog at dawn. The sun breaking the horizon. The dew still on the grass. A deer crossing a city street. The smell of rain in the air. A lonely forgotten Christmas light still dangling on a tree branch. The sound of quiet.
* You win everyday. According to research and my own personal health, running beats depression, heart disease, diabetes, obesity and more. There's no such thing as failure in this game.
* It's a dress rehearsal for life. Life is not always easy and either is running. But when you finally crest that hill or run that first long run, or cross that finish line, you realize you can challenge tough stuff in your real life. You learn that you really can endure whatever comes your way.
* You don't need a how-to manual. If you can walk, you can run. Easy, simple, fun.
* It's the best weight-loss exercise. Running is number one when it comes to calorie burning exercises.
* Running is quiet. Running gives me silent reflective time to say my prayers and be grateful. To realize that life is made up of minutes, just like my run. Some of those minutes are much more challenging than others, but I am thankful for every one of them. The clock is always ticking. Isn't life too short already?
* Running makes you feel like a kid again. I remember way back when I jumped and ran and played forever. There was hopscotch and hula-hoops, kickball and Mother May I? Red light! Green light! Did you ever run through the sprinkler or catch lightening bugs in a jar? Hide and go seek anyone? Did you jump on the bed? Pillow fights? You never got tired. You ran all day long. Running gives you your childlike spirit back---you can still jump in puddles and run through the rain. You can go out to play. And when you come home, you can have some chocolate milk and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
* (I've run out of space--- please insert your own)
Life keeps running and if I have anything to say about it so will you--one step at a time. One heart beat at a time.
A former Olympic runner and member of the first ever Women's Olympic Marathon Team (1984), Julie Isphording has been blazing trails ever since. Now, she's a syndicated radio talk show host for an award winning health and fitness radio programs on 55KRC, the race director of The Thanksgiving Day Race, and a motivational speaker.

Is healthy funner? Yes. I think it makes you weird. And weird is always funner. Like People who don't want to live on credit, get out of debt and pay for things with cash. They're weird. I'm a weirdo. Times pi. Cuz also, I'm a mac.

4 miles
I made a drive for five on Tuesday but just came short. Sorry about missing the blahg those days. Monday through Wednesday.
Monday was swimming. Tuesday was the 4.6 mile run. Wednesday was swimming.
Also Nicky and I are walking at night together. We walk about 1.5 mile around Forest Fair Mall.
The main reason I have missed the blahg the last few days is due to business.
But also, on Monday. Dale Horton, one of coworkers, had a heart attack (or something similar) while driving and passed away.
It's been a true tragedy for us at Hauser Air this week.
Dale's funeral is Saturday.

3.6 miles
I was going to run on the track at the school but they had something going on so I felt a bit weird running on the track and bypassed it.
I have a 20 minute wall.
It takes me about 20 minutes to get in a running rhythm.
Nutrition is still to come.
Sorry, very busy day

swam 30 minutes
Today, I'll share "why get/be healthy".
1. I don't want to die young or get diabetes. I don't want to be embarrassed any mor at the pool or in future situations with my daughter where I may be embarassing to her.
2. The body, for the Christian, is the temple of God. The temple in Jewish scripture was a representation of God to the people. After Jesus, the Christian became the temple. Therefore I want to glorify God.
3. It's hard to shop for clothes when your fat.
4. Actually everything is harder when your fat.
So there you have it. Next I'll give some nutrition fun facts I have learned and some personal theories.

Long time no write, sorry to my avid loyal readers
So I decided today to tel you about my health journey.
March 2005.
Graeme Hall and I were out taking a walk talking about lief and stuff. Graeme asked me what I was doing about my health. At the time I was about 300lbs and unhealthy. I did play some soccer but was very slow. I said I always wanted to, but just couldn't get motivated. Graeme says (and he's a friend mindyou) "Josh, your disciplined in everything else, why can't you be disciplined in this?"
Ouch.
So I started jog/walking. I continued this through till August of 05. I lost about 40lbs and was getting healthier in exercise. (In April I watched the London Marathon on the Beeb and thought I would love to do that one day).
However,
Nicky and I moved back to Cincinnati (from Corringham (east of London, UK) Essex) in June 2005 and I went straight back to the worlds most unhealthy diet.
That fall I was playing soccer in an outdoor league and on crisp November morning I was breaking for the goal on a corner kick and BOOM my back went out.
So I gave up on health. Not on purpose, I just got dumb...
Zoe came into our life Dec 05 and we continued to eat out and be undisciplined and dumb. I did get a Gold's Gym membership in January of 07 but hardly ever went through about 10 months. My weight ballooned to 320lbs. There were ups and downs through that time. I went to Haiti twice and did a month or two of walking before hand but I stayed over 300lbs.
Thanksgiving week 2007.
I decided I had enough. I was tired of waiting to die and early death. I don't want "the suga" and I don't want to huff and puff all the time. IT IS TIME TO GET HEALTHY!
I started a jog/walk program and in January 08 incorporated swimming.
I did something for at least 30 mins every day. Swimming was a killer at first! The first time I tried a lap I thought my arms were going to burn off. so I had to do one length (22mtrs)freestyle and then go back the frog stroke.
HOWEVER,
My diet only barely changed. I had asked a lady at church to be praying for about my discipline because I also felt this was a spiritual matter of taking care of my temple and glorifying god with my temple. But I still was very naive about food.
Then,
June 26 2008, my left lower lumbar disc BLEW. It killed and I writhed in pain all day. Friday, I woke up with out pain but my left leg was numb. "That's weird" I thought. "I better call the chiropractor".
I called and talked to my normal guys assistant doctor, Dr McMurry. He said "you blew a disk, better come in now".
We talked a lot about TOTAL health, and how foods and diet will help me to rebuild my disks. It was way more conversation over a few weeks that taught me to watch for certain items in food and keep count of calories and carbs. To watch portions and to quit justifying because "I am only cheating myself".
At the time I was 301 lbs.It has now been 4 months
Today I weigh 260. Today I jog/ran 4 miles!
Thanksgiving day this year I am running a 10k marathon!
I still got a ton of work to do. But I have made the decision and the changes.
Over the course of time, I will blahg here about the changes I have made and keep posted about my training for the Flying Pig half marathon in May,
and the LONDON MARATHON in 2010!!!!

president
I need to find a way to make money at this, and a way to get people to read it I guess. but you probably have to have something interesting to say.
So, there is always political stuff, and golf, and christianity.
Today it's political.
I'm going to run for resident. Well not really run, more like sit for president or stand up. Because in 2012 when we vote again, I'll be 35 and I think I know what to do, as president, and I have smart wife who tells me the rest. I'm a libertarian you know. So, vote Josh Hauser 2012!
Oh yeah, I say "stand" for president because I don't plan on putting any effort into it, like running. I'm more of a swimmer anyway.
Thank you, I'll remember you and your plight when I am running stuff.
Speaking of swimming, it is a fantastic way to get a great workout. I swim everyday at urban active in Union Center.
I have an app for my iPhone that will help me to blog more and I'll see if I can make some money for my campaign in the mean time by blahging.
OK I found away to make money!

Apparently my old mac.com will still work, but I thought I might as well start switching stuff, because you know they are going to make me switch soon enough.
Also, I am trying to decide what kind of Golf ball I should use.
Also, Extreme makeover is in West Chester!

The Board loved it and we are super appreciative.
SO, If you are looking for an interesting place for coffee, a snack or a good sandwich, go to Tazza Mia today!
That i where you'll find me, working on our service price books.
Making your way in the world today
Takes everything you've got;
Taking a break from all your worries
Sure would help a lot.
Wouldn't you like to get away?
Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came;
You want to be where you can see,
Our troubles are all the same;
You want to be where everybody knows your name.

a dream
So, last night I had a dream.
A new president, whom was young, emphatic and likable (but had ulterior motives) is elected. Over the course of 20 years, the food crisis, rising gas cost and a diminishing dollar cause extreme poverty and depression. So much so, that medicine is now rationed in the presidents universal health care plan. A decision is made that the elderly, sick and mentally handicapped will be euthanized. This is sold and spinned as a good thing to a very poor people by the one government ran news station.
In the beginning of this, The president is forced to join a European/African/American coalition to take a stand against a Eastern coalition controlled by China. This coalition turns into a western senate that gives the President the military power to take over the US and Canada and Mexico as a Dictatorship.
Then comes a hero. It's me in the dream of course, but I look like Will Smith. It's my time to be exterminated due to age (like Logan's Run). The exterminations are done in mass with a large audience like a celebration of their life and the good they are doing for the greater people. But I remember the freedom of the past, the liberty. I talk with a few others with me and start talking revolution. We take capture of the stage and rally the audience for freedom and start a revolution of freedom.
Next I'm in charge of this freedom movement against the military state. I and a few others are infiltrating other colonies of people and spreading the revolution. It comes easy because the people have no hope under the current dictatorship and all weapons were world wide banned in a late effort for peace between the west and the east hemisphere.
I woke up at 4:30am in a sweat and was sure that it was real. I sat and played it in my mind for another hour it seemed.
very weird huh?

When you find yourself in New York and someone asks what London is like you reply 'I don't know, I'm from Essex innit'
You descrive people as 'a rite sort' or 'well fit...!!!'
People all over the world know the Essex stereotype, and constantly remind us when we go abroad! When you say you're from Essex a common reply is 'O yer Essex girls we like Essex girls'
You can spot an Essex boy because he's got the tribal band on his arm!
You drive a white xr3i, or ford escort gti (or such!)

break
So today is Friday the 25th and I'm pretty sure that April 28th use to be something important. any idea?
Moby's new album is ok.
I'm at a place called Tazza Mia in Union Center. It's very nice. Like if Starbucks and Panera had a baby. But we all know that Starbucks is way to "selfish bachelor" for Panera to ever look at him. So this place must be a test tube baby and someone dropped some coffee in the petry dish.
I wear crocs. Till Labor day at least. from the first warm day a couple weeks ago. yes they are that comfortable. better than socks with birkentocks. I was never thin enough to pull that look off, even when I wore glasses. And I think you need a mustache most of the time for that look.

The man who sold the world
So my word of wisdom to you the golfer. Get fitted and it will improve your game.
On to another subject. I have been listening to Rare and unreleased by U2. Amber, Pastor's wife and U2 FANATIC (went to Ireland just to see where Bono has walked) passed this cd on to me, I think, maybe she was just showing it to me and I kept it not understanding... Well, she is on of the three people who read this, so, Amber, did you want your cd back?
Subject 3
Everyone should integrate Gmail and Google Calendar and Google docs into their life. It's escpecially nice doing Gmail on your phone and keeping your phone calendar up to date with the provided goosync.
4. Visit old people that are sick. Always different and always a blessing. Today I pushed a senile lady I didn't know around a hall way for 5 minutes (in a wheelchair) just because she asked. It was great fun for both of us.
5. I love warm weather. I even like to sweat. It beats coats and freezing any day. I wish global warming would hurry up and move to Ohio. I welcome 70º temps in January with open arms and open cfc based refrigerants and co producing emissions and I'm aiming for that ozone hole.
6. Don't take me too seriously eh?

Putting

It all comes down to putting. I'm 100% convinced now. You have to putt good to lower your score. If Tiger had putted as usual he would be wearing the green jacket. How many putts did he lip out of push or pull. Short ones too.
Therefore, I am dedicating twice as much practice to putting as I am irons this year. and certainly way more than to driving. You don't have to drive great if you can putt the daylights out.
Anyway, congrats to Trevor Immelman and his Scotty Cameron.
by the way, I have scotty cameron. and it still takes practice and hard work and focus.
It's the same way in our Christian relationship. You have to focus, aim, follow through. Grip. It all relates.

dying
At approximately 3:30am Tuesday morning, Nicky had to go to the restroom.
It turned out to be more.
I started the rotation with her at 4am. and we just rotated covering the mighty porcelain for 10.5 hours.
Somewhere in the middle, I was ready to go on home. The far side of Jordan as my Grandpa says.
Then for the next 24 hours we have been unable to move.
An entire day is gone.
Now the sun is shining and the birds are tweeting this glorious Wednesday afternoon. But I still don't feel like moving.
uuuuggggggghhhhhhhh

A Challenge has been set before me
Forward
I have wanted to write a book for quite a while now. I remember as a youngster wanting to write fiction and horror stories. Then later I thought of a few people I would like to write a biography about or a article or two. I never did though because I just didn’t feel I was much of writer, I liked telling stories but my imagination seems only interesting to me. However, Since I have been in full time ministry I feel my communications skills have improved and now I also feel I have found the subject I would most like to have a book about. Helping others. I hope you find some benefit in this book and don’t miss the over all humor of it.
Over the last few years all kinds of people have come to me with their peecee needs and questions, “how do I do this?” and “why did my peecee do that?”. I have always tried to answer with patience, and help them through their mini peecee crisis. My first answer, as some of you can attest to, is “buy a mac”. In this book I hope to explain that answer and back it up as the true answer to your peecee “crisis”.

Chapter 18 Why did this virus attack me?
Chapter 1
Why do people tell me “everyone uses windows”?
My answer to this question is pretty simple. They’re lying to you. Buy a Mac. Go ahead look around at coffee shops, airports, on tv show or commercials, movies or any where computers are used. I think you’ll count more Apple computers than any other brand. Just keep your eyes open for the sleek, sharp, cutting edge technology and Apple logo. If Dell went out of business tomorrow, would anyone care? No. How about Gateway, Compaq or HP? No. Why? Would any one care if Apple did? Yes, and it would call for national day of mourning. Because the Mac faithful would call for it. The Mac Faithful are the The Mac Faithful because they choose to be, every single person who owns a Mac, is The Faithful. Meet a Mac person, any one at random, and ask them if they love their Mac. Do you think you would get that response at random from a Windows user? Not hardly! Also notice my wordage when describing the difference. An Apple owner is a Mac Person. A PC owner is a user. Meet a Mac Person and a simple enquiry about they’re computer will drive this point home for me.
Chapter 2
I want to learn to use a computer, where do I start?
Buy a Mac. Go to an Apple reseller near you, buy what the salesman or Mac genius recommends, you can trust them. Apple people care about you, not your money. When it comes to Mac, you may need to de-learn all the garbage that windows has brain washed us into thinking we needed. Give it a week of playing around on your new Mac, maybe two, and you’ll have it figured out. IF you have any questions, find another Mac person, whether you know them or not, we’re a tight knit bunch, a family, and ask them for help, they will help you and love it.
Chapter 3
How do I install software and where is it?
Buy a Mac. Most of the software you need will come on the computer for you. Ready to go. If you have to have Microsoft Office, you can purchase it and share your office files with those Windoze users just like they do with they’re other Windoze counterparts. The difference is that Office is actually easier to operate on a Mac. In fact you may find you don’t even need Office any more or it’s hefty preposterous price tag. Apple offers a application called Pages that will replace Word and it is packaged with an application called Keynote that can replace Powerpoint. Outlook is a joke and Windoze users should even avoid it like the plague. This application suite is called iWork and costs only $79. Or try the free version of excel and word offered by Google with online storage. This book was created in Keynote and edited in Word and in Google Docs, and distributed in PDF, needless to say, all on a Mac.
Chapter 4
Why doesn’t everything just work?
Well, buy a Mac. Mac people will tell you “everything just works on a Mac”.
Chapter 5
Why don’t my programs recognize my devices?
Buy a Mac. Because they weren’t written to be able to do that. The developer has no idea what device you may have or computer or operating system version, when on Windows. However, Apple has a code of consistency that allows developers to make a program that can recognize the devices necessary to operate efficiently in your digital lifestyle. Therefore, things just seem to work, see Chapter 4.
Chapter 6
Why did it freeze, crash, stop working, blue screen, or force me to restart?
Buy a Mac. Macs don’t freeze, crash, stop working, blue screen, or force me to restart?
Chapter 7
How do I get on the web/internet?
Buy a Mac, buy a wireless cable/modem from the cable internet people, turn on your Mac, wala. Open Safari. Safari is Apple’s answer to Internet Explorer. It’s safer and faster. Another option is Firefox. Firefox is even faster and is customizable.Chapter 8
How do I E-mail?
Buy a Mac and you will have loads of options here. Apple’s Mail program far outwits Entourage (Outlook’s Mac version). The junk email intelligent, and versatility of smart folders is impressive. You can use Entourage, but I have never met anyone who liked it. Web mail is great too. Safari and Firefox are both awesome Internet browsers (Chapter 7) and can take you too Gmail, or .mac mail, or yahoo mail. Chapter 9
How do I listen to music and attach an mp3 player?
Buy a Mac, then buy an iPod. the directions are included, and they’re pictures. It’s that easy.
Chapter 10
How do I put my digital photos on my computer so I can share them?
Chapter 11
How can I keep track of contacts and calendars?
Buy a Mac and use Apple’s built in Address Book & iCal. Entourage is also available if you ponied up for the outlandish Microsoft Office package. If you like to keep things on the web in case you lose your computer, try Google’s Gmail with contacts, and Google Calendar. or .mac from Apple. The only problem is .mac isn’t free anymore. Dotmac will sync your address book and calendar to a web server so you can keep multiple computers aligned, and also your Safari bookmarks. But Google offers you all this for free.
Chapter 12
How do I put my contacts and calendars on my PDA, ipod, or phone?
Buy a Mac. If you own a Bluetooth phone, or an ipod, you’ll also be excited to hear that you new Mac will sync your contacts and calendars to these devices as well. Keeping your information always at hand.
Chapter 13
How do I edit digital video from my camcorder?
Chapter 14
Are there any games I can waste time with?
Buy a Sony Playstation. There are games, but that is not the purpose of any computer in my opinion. I do play Pacman though on my Mac.
Chapter 15
Why doesn’t my printer work?
Chapter 16
How can I setup a home network for the family?
Chapter 17
How do I share things with others on my network?
Chapter 18
Why did this virus attack me?

amazement
It is already painstakingly obvious that the Mac OSX is the far superior Os in stability and useabilty. And even for the hardcore windows hold outs, you can load windows on your Apple computer and still be running faster than a dell. That takes the risk out.

two things, And I think they are un-related.

1. Tiger with Nike. What has happened here? He cannot drive the ball straight with those silly Sasquatch drivers. Even his 3 wood is shaky. Now, his irons you understand are exact replicas of the Titleist 680/690s. When he switched to Nike (for the money) it seems they just copied his irons for him.
Wedges too. But he of course kept the Cameron putter. Why not just continue to use a Titleist driver? How deadly would Tiger be if he had hit more than 50%. Of course he makes it up with an 80% greens in regulation. Anyway, listen to me Tiger. Try the Titleist D1.
Second. Ron Paul. I am seriously concerned that the only man who makes any since on the campaign trail is not getting enough election coverage from the media. I firmly believe America would choose him if they knew of him. But the media wnt someone whom it will be easy to write about. someone who has a checkered it past and unstable future. Hence the reason they want Hilary, and the reason they wanted Guillani. America never thought seriously about Rudy. That is why his numbers were so poor. But the news media wanted otherwise. they could write about and sell news of him for years. But Dr. Paul is clean guy, with a faith, and he believes in restoring our constitution and sticking to it.
Please, if you haven't voted yet in your primary, learn more about Ron Paul before you make your choice.

it's Eclectic (boogie woogie woogie)
Amazing last quarter, I saw it coming the whole time. I only laughed out loud at the Etrade baby.
It's FAT Tuesday tomorrow, also known as Shrove Tuesday and Pancake Tuesday. This year though, IT'S SUPER TUESDAY!
I want to sit and watch Fox & Friends and Robin Meade, and CNN, and Cspan and eat pancakes in my pajamas all day!
Another interestaresting thought about tomorrow, it will be golf weather again. But raining.
My thoughts about the current elcetion process were summed up well by Moby.

State of my phone address
(Applause) (Standing Ovation)
I am pleased and honored to address you the American people about... my phone.
(Applause) (Standing Ovation)
12 days ago, Cincinnati Bell Wireless asked me to try the new Blackberry 8120 with WIFI.
(Applause)
This is the third coolest phone know to man.
(Applause)
The first is obviously the iphone.
(Applause) (Standing Ovation)
The second is the Nokia E65.
(Applause)
i am very pleased with our efforts in the war on dropped calls.
(Applause)
The insurgency of missed emails is being defeated.
(Applause) (Standing Ovation)
However, we must work even harder at replying to these emails.
(Applause)
It is far too easy to let these emails attack with no attack. I will not rest until I have successfully seen every conversation come to completion!
(Applause)
This last week has been especially difficult in reference to Text Messages. Although I have my calls forwarded, The text Messages are still going to my original phone. Today that will come to a stop.
(Applause)
Today I will make the permanent move to a Blackberry Pearl.
(Applause)
Expect to see my phone number, the phone number you can trust, on your caller ID again!
(Applause) (Standing Ovation)
To my fine colleagues who doubt this move, I say, Watch and learn.
(Applause) (Standing Ovation)
American people, We are living in a fine solid economy.
(Applause)
Do not let CNN tell you otherwise.
(Applause) (Standing Ovation)
People are still spending, and the only slowdown in spending has been caused by fanatical hoopla.
(Applause) (Standing Ovation)
The phone, car, tv, refrigerator, A/C, & computer industry is proving it. Spend your money, spend it wisely.
(Applause) (Standing Ovation)
God bless GSM

I WILL NOT LET MY INTELLIGENCE BE INSULTED
Don't be fooled.
maybe just more people are paying off debt and spending with cash.
I had a few other things to say, but I forgot them now. This is a poor post.
oh! we got a sleep number bed. It is awesome. I think it's really going to help Nicky.
I'm regular in the gym again. I swam the other day. That was a bad idea. my arms are killing me. I ran all out yesterday. and my thighs are killing me.

my 50th post.
I hope you have a great new year. Are you making resolutions? I'm not a fan of resolutions, I like solutions. Solutions mean solving a problem. The problem: out of shape, physically and financially. Solutions: exercise/eat right and budget.
obeekaby.
We're still on holiday in Stanford-Le-Hope right now.
yeap.

Christmas Eve
I heard story last night about a kids pageant at a school and the kids were spelling out CHRISTMAS LOVE.
However, The child holding the M accidentally? held it upside down, thus making it a W.
All the other older kids were laughing. until. THey saw the new message. Christ Was Love.
Aww. That is nice story and good true one for Christmas. That is what is all about you know.
on a nother note.
I thought I was going to spend the holidays in Basildon hospital. I woke up at 1:30am with a deeply disboweling feeling. I rose our of bed to see what was the matter. I ran to the toilet only unleash darkness from the depths of the inner kingdom. After a few bouts with porcelain god and my backside, I finally made it back to sleep. I think it was the salad or the pizza. luckily we had some leftovers so I had some for lunch today to see.
I hope you have a great Christmas and full of joy and what not.

Merry Christmas
Bad kids get a lump of coal... The equivalent is a peecee with Windoze.
Seriously, there is no difference between coal and a peecee. I would rather have coal. It's much more useful.
And you know what... any mac person will tell you the same. Yet people still don't listen and still don't pull themselves out of the brainwashed yucky mire of windoze computing. They put up with it, and just except, "that's the way computers are". NO! MACS ARE NOT THAT WAY! GET AWAY FROM GATES & BALLMER, THEY OWN YOUR MIND!!
ok, seriously. Give up the peecee, and save yourself from the headaches and the uselessness.
Dispel the myths.
They do not cost more
You do not have to "learn" something new. (You do have to de-learn all the extra garbage microsoft makes you do)
You can get all the programs you need and share those files with other computers.
All the same games, (If you like games, you should buy a Playstation anyway, geek)
There are no viruses. zero, nada
Macs are consistently the fastest rated computers on the market
You can run windows if you have too. So that takes the "Risk out" (PC world just rated a Macbook Pro as the fastest machine running Vista)
Go here.
http://www.apple.com/getamac/
They should pay me for this.
And you should too. you will thank me though.
